I rented Date Night this week (a group of us get together occasionally to watch a movie and go out to lunch) because it got some good reviews and had the same number of stars as Death at a Funeral. Well, as a friend said about the previews, "it didn't look funny." I said: Yes, I saw those previews too and thought the same, but it got three and a half stars. Well, it doesn't deserve them. We all wandered off at various times and amused ourselves elsewhere by taking out the dogs, going online, etc. We did come back for the end. The consensus was that we were all grateful we didn't see it at the theatre 'cause we couldn't escape there. Btw, for a fun movie with a similar premise, see Adventures in Babysitting.
